Use prior knowledge of personal attack to defend yourself

17 04 2008

Let’s face it! It’s one of the most powerful sensations in the world.

Just imagine that, by a set of coincidences you manage to get some advanced knowledge of someone or a group of people trying to screw you over, sometimes in an alpha male situation, or revenge as we commonly call it. So? What’s so fascinating about a situation like that? The good thing is you having advanced knowledge of the whole thing, but the key ingredient here is, how to use that information for your own good and advantage. Before we go into that lets take a look at all the mistakes (so that you avoid them) you might make when facing a similar situation. So always avoid:

1. Anger (or the commonly named “I’ll break his f*cking face” factor):

  • Always avoid this. The only thing you’ll take off of the whole experience will be, reacting the same way as the people you are against in the first place, and that’s not where you want to be.
  • Violence (verbal and physical) doesn’t get you anywhere, so just skip it for your own good. All that’s going to come out of it will be, a hospital bill for some stiches.

2. Revenge (AKA: Wait until you see what’s coming)

  • Again, avoid repeating the same things you were a victim of, because that’s the moment where all your reason will be lost.

3. Avoid talking about your prior knowledge to anyone.

  • People have friends and the walls have ears, so avoid your enemy to acknowledge you just found out about his plan. You’ll be the only one losing if this happens.

So now that we reviewed the three major NOT-TO-DO’s, lets take a peek on what your counter-attack could be:
1. Don’t act surprised at all (in fact do your most unimpressed face ever) when the attack you’re already expecting happens.

  • People hate, when starting a fight, to have no reaction from their opponents. In personal attacks there’s always the pleasure of inflicting damage to a victim, but when the victim doesn’t seem to react, or to even appear damaged at all, the attacker’s frustration arises

2. Agree with whom is attacking you on their reasons.

  • Before you start thinking “I’m not going to take blame or agree with someone who’s totally wrong, or i even hate”, think twice… Deep inside you know right from wrong, but in this game your point of view, or arguments won’t make you win either way, so just embrace that and remember that your reaction towards what’s happening will be totally false, so all you need, is some acting in order to tell whoever (boss, girlfriend, wife, enemies or even friends) that their absolutely right, without them getting the idea that you’re being ironic or going “yada yada yada” on them. If they believe you actually agree with them, by now their whole reason for picking up on you is a lost cause.

3. Counter attack over the top

  • Now this will require some skill. When you get advanced knownledge of what’s about to happen,  immediately start thinking of what your classy, white glove slap in the face will be.
  • Now this one IS NOT a straight shot answer. You’ll have to know your opponent and what flaws he/she has, but the main goal is to, in the most classiest of ways, with the biggest respect and decency possible, use them in your reaction speech. Say how you understand them and that maybe the best thing to do right now, for your own improvement, is to correct certain (SPECIFIC) flaws, your relationship (work / friend / whatever) has at the moment… and you appoint those flaws, except all of those are his/hers!
So what you’ll be able to do is, to get that person to re-think about those flaws, and once they do (normally after all this has passed) they’ll value your opinion, and even if they don’t say it out loud, they’ll acknowledge (for themselves) what they’re actually doing wrong, and that’s what matters.

Remember: Class, respect, and good manners always have and always will win a brawl and any fight. Don’t ever incite violence for nothing positive will ever get out of it.

Do you still believe in freedom?

14 04 2008

So last time you checked almost everyone is “free” in democratic and first world countries… right?

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to get the clear picture that, the people on this planet are far from free.
Without bashing on this specific country I’ll use it to give the best example possible. People are controlled by governments and societies are managed carefully by them. This is an absolute fact. Freedom is not an easily described word or concept.

To be free means: “the power or right to act, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint”.

As we know, no one out there can act as they want, because what’s good for someone isn’t always good for everyone. This applies for you and me, you and your government, and even you a simple tree.
Countries like the US and other european countries often use the word freedom to have an impact on their citizens and their lifestyle, to create a pshycological impact on societies, so that all its members continue to work like cattle. In freedom what you see isn’t always what you get.

When talking of freedom, lets face it, no one actually knows how to manage it. Our freedom often impacts other people’s lives, like poor countries and their corrupt governments, which enslave their people so that someone profits from their over-populated poor country.

China is an example of how far the powers that be, are capable of streching their iron fists in order for the powerful to remain that way. People work like slaves and get paid miserable wages so that you and I can have our TV’s, shoes, clothes, mp3 players, computers, you name it. Is that a right way to procede?
Should companies be able to exploit our poorest brothers and sisters from this same planet? Shouldn’t there be laws against taking your contry’s work force and just send it to a far, over populated countries where you can spend ten times less money ? Shouldn’t these people be taxed 10 times as more for doing that? Shouldn’t we all unite and share the same wages and lifestyle? Why is greed such a part of our lives?

Companies are growing and treating their people like cattle in order to get results and more money. At the end of the day we’re like dead batteries.. you just swap them for new ones and it’s done.
Why don’t we get that picture all the time? Because companies are trained to treat you like they care, to give you objectives to run to, to give people more work than they can handle (and in case of failure it’s not because you had too much to do, it’s because they gave you a goal and you (and no one) could acomplish them)

Let’s give out an example.

You are given an objective: Work hard to get your customers to invest more in your company. If you manage to get 10 companies to renew their contracts (to more expensive ones) you’ll get a 1000 bucks plus some vouchers to redeem somewhere.

- what do most people do? They’ll work their asses off for the prize, for the objective to be completed, so that they’ll feel special and earn something special. That’s it. You want to please! So that in a couple of years you’ll get paid 100 bucks more monthly.

So now lets focus on what happens most of the time: You’ll manage to get 8 or 9 companies to renew their contracts. Oops… didn’t you hear it was 10? All you’ll get is a lame excuse because 9 isn’t good enough, and your bonus or prize was just flushed down the toilet. You will feel like you’ve let your master (AKA Boss) down and you’ll even apologize some times.
On the other hand your employer is jumping happy for he had an objective of 5 and was able to get 9, and better yet… no one will get any bonuses because he’ll keep them all for him and his board buddies.

What happens to a company when they promiss you and won’t deliver? In case you haven’t noticed, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

They call you free so that you feel good about yourself, and once you realize nothing in your life, related to your job and lifestyle, is actually 100% free. Your freedom is shrinked to be able to say what you think and in some cases get away with bad mouthing your government (which doesn’t happen that often as you might have noticed)

So our freedom isn’t worth much, because the powers that be hate that we can speak our minds, and are determined to ignore those who speak their minds and have ideas that they consider are not in the best interests oftheir society (aka their own pockets)

Unfortunately there will always be wars, because someone will have to make billions off of military arsenal and steal other people’s OIL and that’s something I can’t cope with.

Why go around stealing people’s liberties and invading countries with fake excuses (that even now that everyone knows its nothing but a bunch of lies, people still go to work and do nothing about it), making life harder for everyone because of increasing prices (that only profit those who make our rules) when one day not far from now all you greedy power hungry sons of bitches will be dead anyways?

I’m a guy and sometimes I wish the world was ruled by women, for I know that if it were to happen, no wars would be fought and the world would be a better place, because women are the only one capable of ruling this world the way it should be.

Why? Because they’re mothers and know how much everyone’s life is worth, something that man will never understand.

Have a nice day and thank you mother for carrying you and worrying about you when no one else would.

Peace out.

The best email I’ve received from a friend…

14 04 2008

source: http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2006/07/10-reasons-you-should-never-get-a-job/

1. Income for dummies.

Getting a job and trading your time for money may seem like a good idea.  There’s only one problem with it.  It’s stupid!  It’s the stupidest way you can possibly generate income!  This is truly income for dummies.

Why is getting a job so dumb?  Because you only get paid when you’re working.  Don’t you see a problem with that, or have you been so thoroughly brainwashed into thinking it’s reasonable and intelligent to only earn income when you’re working?  Have you never considered that it might be better to be paid even when you’re not working?  Who taught you that you could only earn income while working?  Some other brainwashed employee perhaps?

Don’t you think your life would be much easier if you got paid while you were eating, sleeping, and playing with the kids too?  Why not get paid 24/7?  Get paid whether you work or not.  Don’t your plants grow even when you aren’t tending to them?  Why not your bank account?

Who cares how many hours you work?  Only a handful of people on this entire planet care how much time you spend at the office.  Most of us won’t even notice whether you work 6 hours a week or 60.  But if you have something of value to provide that matters to us, a number of us will be happy to pull out our wallets and pay you for it.  We don’t care about your time — we only care enough to pay for the value we receive.  Do you really care how long it took me to write this article?  Would you pay me twice as much if it took me 6 hours vs. only 3?

Non-dummies often start out on the traditional income for dummies path.  So don’t feel bad if you’re just now realizing you’ve been suckered.  Non-dummies eventually realize that trading time for money is indeed extremely dumb and that there must be a better way.  And of course there is a better way.  The key is to de-couple your value from your time.

Smart people build systems that generate income 24/7, especially passive income.  This can include starting a business, building a web site, becoming an investor, or generating royalty income from creative work.  The system delivers the ongoing value to people and generates income from it, and once it’s in motion, it runs continuously whether you tend to it or not.  From that moment on, the bulk of your time can be invested in increasing your income (by refining your system or spawning new ones) instead of merely maintaining your income.

This web site is an example of such a system.  At the time of this writing, it generates about $9000 a month in income for me (update: $40,000 a month as of 10/31/06), and it isn’t my only income stream either.  I write each article just once (fixed time investment), and people can extract value from them year after year.  The web server delivers the value, and other systems (most of which I didn’t even build and don’t even understand) collect income and deposit it automatically into my bank account.  It’s not perfectly passive, but I love writing and would do it for free anyway.  But of course it cost me a lot of money to launch this business, right?  Um, yeah, $9 is an awful lot these days (to register the domain name).  Everything after that was profit.

Sure it takes some upfront time and effort to design and implement your own income-generating systems.  But you don’t have to reinvent the wheel — feel free to use existing systems like ad networks and affiliate programs.  Once you get going, you won’t have to work so many hours to support yourself.  Wouldn’t it be nice to be out having dinner with your spouse, knowing that while you’re eating, you’re earning money?  If you want to keep working long hours because you enjoy it, go right ahead.  If you want to sit around doing nothing, feel free.  As long as your system continues delivering value to others, you’ll keep getting paid whether you’re working or not.

Your local bookstore is filled with books containing workable systems others have already designed, tested, and debugged.  Nobody is born knowing how to start a business or generate investment income, but you can easily learn it.  How long it takes you to figure it out is irrelevant because the time is going to pass anyway.  You might as well emerge at some future point as the owner of income-generating systems as opposed to a lifelong wage slave.  This isn’t all or nothing.  If your system only generates a few hundred dollars a month, that’s a significant step in the right direction.

2. Limited experience.

You might think it’s important to get a job to gain experience.  But that’s like saying you should play golf to get experience playing golf.  You gain experience from living, regardless of whether you have a job or not.  A job only gives you experience at that job, but you gain “experience” doing just about anything, so that’s no real benefit at all.  Sit around doing nothing for a couple years, and you can call yourself an experienced meditator, philosopher, or politician.

The problem with getting experience from a job is that you usually just repeat the same limited experience over and over.  You learn a lot in the beginning and then stagnate.  This forces you to miss other experiences that would be much more valuable.  And if your limited skill set ever becomes obsolete, then your experience won’t be worth squat.  In fact, ask yourself what the experience you’re gaining right now will be worth in 20-30 years.  Will your job even exist then?

Consider this.  Which experience would you rather gain?  The knowledge of how to do a specific job really well — one that you can only monetize by trading your time for money – or the knowledge of how to enjoy financial abundance for the rest of your life without ever needing a job again?  Now I don’t know about you, but I’d rather have the latter experience.  That seems a lot more useful in the real world, wouldn’t you say?

3. Lifelong domestication.

Getting a job is like enrolling in a human domestication program.  You learn how to be a good pet.

Look around you.  Really look.  What do you see?  Are these the surroundings of a free human being?  Or are you living in a cage for unconscious animals?  Have you fallen in love with the color beige?

How’s your obedience training coming along?  Does your master reward your good behavior?  Do you get disciplined if you fail to obey your master’s commands?

Is there any spark of free will left inside you?  Or has your conditioning made you a pet for life?

Humans are not meant to be raised in cages.  You poor thing…

4. Too many mouths to feed.

Employee income is the most heavily taxed there is.  In the USA you can expect that about half your salary will go to taxes.  The tax system is designed to disguise how much you’re really giving up because some of those taxes are paid by your employer, and some are deducted from your paycheck.  But you can bet that from your employer’s perspective, all of those taxes are considered part of your pay, as well as any other compensation you receive such as benefits.  Even the rent for the office space you consume is considered, so you must generate that much more value to cover it.  You might feel supported by your corporate environment, but keep in mind that you’re the one paying for it.

Another chunk of your income goes to owners and investors.  That’s a lot of mouths to feed.

It isn’t hard to understand why employees pay the most in taxes relative to their income.  After all, who has more control over the tax system?  Business owners and investors or employees?

You only get paid a fraction of the real value you generate.  Your real salary may be more than triple what you’re paid, but most of that money you’ll never see.  It goes straight into other people’s pockets.

What a generous person you are!

5. Way too risky.

Many employees believe getting a job is the safest and most secure way to support themselves.

Morons.

Social conditioning is amazing.  It’s so good it can even make people believe the exact opposite of the truth.

Does putting yourself in a position where someone else can turn off all your income just by saying two words (“You’re fired”) sound like a safe and secure situation to you?  Does having only one income stream honestly sound more secure than having 10?

The idea that a job is the most secure way to generate income is just silly.  You can’t have security if you don’t have control, and employees have the least control of anyone.  If you’re an employee, then your real job title should be professional gambler.

6. Having an evil bovine master.

When you run into an idiot in the entrepreneurial world, you can turn around and head the other way.  When you run into an idiot in the corporate world, you have to turn around and say, “Sorry, boss.”

Did you know that the word boss comes from the Dutch word baas, which historically means master?  Another meaning of the word boss is “a cow or bovine.”  And in many video games, the boss is the evil dude that you have to kill at the end of a level.

So if your boss is really your evil bovine master, then what does that make you?  Nothing but a turd in the herd.

Who’s your daddy?

7. Begging for money.

When you want to increase your income, do you have to sit up and beg your master for more money?  Does it feel good to be thrown some extra Scooby Snacks now and then?

Or are you free to decide how much you get paid without needing anyone’s permission but your own?

If you have a business and one customer says “no” to you, you simply say “next.”

8. An inbred social life.

Many people treat their jobs as their primary social outlet.  They hang out with the same people working in the same field.  Such incestuous relations are social dead ends.  An exciting day includes deep conversations about the company’s switch from Sparkletts to Arrowhead, the delay of Microsoft’s latest operating system, and the unexpected delivery of more Bic pens.  Consider what it would be like to go outside and talk to strangers.  Ooooh… scary!  Better stay inside where it’s safe.

If one of your co-slaves gets sold to another master, do you lose a friend?  If you work in a male-dominated field, does that mean you never get to talk to women above the rank of receptionist?  Why not decide for yourself whom to socialize with instead of letting your master decide for you?  Believe it or not, there are locations on this planet where free people congregate.  Just be wary of those jobless folk — they’re a crazy bunch!

9. Loss of freedom.

It takes a lot of effort to tame a human being into an employee.  The first thing you have to do is break the human’s independent will.  A good way to do this is to give them a weighty policy manual filled with nonsensical rules and regulations.  This leads the new employee to become more obedient, fearing that s/he could be disciplined at any minute for something incomprehensible.  Thus, the employee will likely conclude it’s safest to simply obey the master’s commands without question.  Stir in some office politics for good measure, and we’ve got a freshly minted mind slave.

As part of their obedience training, employees must be taught how to dress, talk, move, and so on.  We can’t very well have employees thinking for themselves, now can we?  That would ruin everything.

God forbid you should put a plant on your desk when it’s against the company policy.  Oh no, it’s the end of the world!  Cindy has a plant on her desk!  Summon the enforcers!  Send Cindy back for another round of sterility training!

Free human beings think such rules and regulations are silly of course.  The only policy they need is:  “Be smart.  Be nice.  Do what you love.  Have fun.”

10. Becoming a coward.

Have you noticed that employed people have an almost endless capacity to whine about problems at their companies?  But they don’t really want solutions – they just want to vent and make excuses why it’s all someone else’s fault.  It’s as if getting a job somehow drains all the free will out of people and turns them into spineless cowards.  If you can’t call your boss a jerk now and then without fear of getting fired, you’re no longer free.  You’ve become your master’s property.

When you work around cowards all day long, don’t you think it’s going to rub off on you?  Of course it will.  It’s only a matter of time before you sacrifice the noblest parts of your humanity on the altar of fear:  first courage… then honesty… then honor and integrity… and finally your independent will.  You sold your humanity for nothing but an illusion.  And now your greatest fear is discovering the truth of what you’ve become.

I don’t care how badly you’ve been beaten down.  It is never too late to regain your courage.  Never!

Still want a job?”

If the whole world used Macs, what would happen to the IT business?

31 03 2008

Well, I just got my hands on a Sony Vaio VGN-TZ31VN, straight from one of the top execs of a company I come to, every now and then. He asked me to get it up and running for him. The list of tasks he gave me is pretty short:

Install Office 2007, Adobe Acrobat Pro 8, add the PC to the domain and install Microsoft Project 2007.

It has now been 2h15m since I’ve been working on this machine, and guess what I’m doing? That’s right, I’m still uninstalling the crappy pre-installed software… after 2 HOURS!
Got rid of the typical Norton product, the Office 2007 trials, and SQL Server, even Google Desktop, Google Toolbars, and lots of other small tiny crapware.

It’s so sad to know that there is something much better out there and yet, people and big companies still rely on MS Windows and their buggy OS to base and trust their professional lives on.

I’ve been and IT guy for quite some time, and I am even a MS Certified Systems Engineer and Admin (MCSE, MCSA) and each new day, I dislike Microsoft more and more.
Lets face it. I work in IT and I have a Mac . There’s only one, out of all the companies I work for, that actually owns a couple of Macs, and guess what. They never needed any tech support, more than creating a couple of aliases on the desktop

If the whole world used Macs, what would happen to the IT business?

My guess would be:

- Helpdesk IT centers would cut off 60% to 70% of their spending.
- User satisfaction would increase exponentially. Users would now be able to use their computers in the way computers were designed to do. Make our lives easier and improve our productivity.
- Users would gladly pay for software. Lets face it: people hate to pay for software because most of the times it’s buggy and eternal beta software. Why would anyone want to pay 500 euros for a copy of Windows Vista Ultimate? To get their PC’s filled with spyware, viruses and need a 200 euro upgrade so that their PC can run Windows, and even after that they’d have to consider reinstalling every 6 months in order to keep their computer in nice shape?

Just check the comparison below…

MS Windows Vista Ultimate

Mac OS Leopard

Do yourself a favor and check out an Apple Store or authorized reseller and travel to the future without the need for a Time Machine. Oh wait… you’ll get a Time Machine with Mac OSX!

PS: I’m just a MCSE and MCSA who fell in love with Apple and their Think Different and Just Works philosophy. Would love to work for Apple and leave everything Microsoft related behind!

(Not so)TechDays 2008. Why Microsoft is slowly losing their game.

20 03 2008

TechDays

Ok. So I went to TechDays 2008 in Lisbon.Nice and all. Nice reception, average lunch, but kind of crappy on what concerns the actual reason to go there.I went to 3 presentations:

- System Center Remote Operations Manager 2007

- MS Exchange 2007’s Service Pack 1 features.

- Modelling and Composing Software for today and the future.

The first one was ok I guess. Nice explaining and all, but the software was just not user friendly. Typical Microsoft MMC based application, with dozens of tiny small items all over the screen, menus and sub menus. Nothing is clear and easy to use. All in all the only advantage I saw was the fact that it doesn’t need VPN connections in order to monitor a clients system. Other than that it seems Microsoft is trying to play catch up with all the other different software makers, only that they should be the ones leading software development in the world. Besides the OS’ there’s nothing great about Microsoft nowadays except maybe for the XBOX 360.

On the second presentation about the SP1 for Exchange 2007, things were worse. The lady giving the presentation was supposedly one of the top Exchange 2007 experts at Microsoft. Well, her presentation sure didn’t impress anyone. The Demos didn’t work, she kept losing herself in her speech, and people were rather confused by the time they ended it. Round of questions and everyone had one… obviously. As I saw her effort to answer the questions, I realized she was nervous, or maybe she wasn’t as good as they had put it.

As for the 3rd presentation, it sure was the most professionally presented, but the topic of discussion, “Modelling and Composing Software for today and the future”, wasn’t so apparent. The german presenters were very professional, but I was hoping the discussion would be less focused on technical aspects, but hey, maybe it was just me and the other guys leaving halfway through the presentation.

Anyway, this was a clear proof that Microsoft is way behind their game right now. They’ve lost all the WOW factor for the past years and it’s no surprise people are turning to Mac OSX and Linux as their saviors.
Computers are supposed to be a tool for a greater good, but users are tired of blue screens of death, viruses, complicated to use Operating Systems and constantly solving problems, instead of enjyoing that experience.

It’s sad but hey… at least they made me get a Mac!! Thanks Microsoft.

If I had to end this with a personal note would be: Get a Mac. You’ll love it, won’t get enough of it, and actually start doing something useful and productive.

Motivation

29 02 2008

What motivates you?
I guess motivation is the driving force of every single one of us. We suck when we’re not motivated and we’re the best when we are. So why is that?
Well, in order to be motivated what you need before anything else, is a goal. Your goal has to be realistic. Other thing to consider is that, you’ll probably need to set some mini-goals first, before you go for the big ones.

The other important factor is finish what you start. Don’t have all huge projects if you can’ take them forward. Be realistic on what you can do according to your availibility and current situation. Sure you can dream of reaching a higher goal but you’ll probably need to reach some smaller ones in order to get there, just like we discussed earlier.

So, now that you’ve set a goal and are decided to take it forward, what other things can you do?

If you’re interested in a certain subject, most probably you’ll want to discuss it with others, specially with people who share that same interest with you, and that will take your motivation sky high. It will easily increase your productivity and motivate you even further, because you now feel like you’re not alone on this, even if you are. Discussing your goals with other people will dramatically increase your interest and will be fairly important on keeping you motivated. Just try for yourself.
If you have a goal, and you keep postponing it, try talking about it with someone you think has a positive input to giveyou on the subject. You’ll get a whole new perspectives on how to take forward your goal, and motivation-wise it’s the best that can happen to you.

At this point you should grab your newly found motivation and start investigating which will be the best way to achieve your goal and getting to know everything you need to know about your goal.

Lets hope this works for you.

Is that a huge dog?

Music Industry: The next step

2 02 2008

Steve knows his stuff.

This year the MP3 will turn 11 years old. I still remember downloading a Winamp version that wasn’t even a 1.o. My first MP3 had nothing to do with my music taste but it had some good sound effects and the fact that it had only 4.3 MB was amazing! Only 45 minutes to download a song seemed impressive.

11 years after that, here we are. There’s iTunes, Apple’s big, record companies are struggling to survive and people got tired of paying 15 euros for a CD with 2 good songs. So the music industry is going through a totally different scene as we speak. But do the people in charge know what they’re doing? Or does it take a 53 year old computer geek and one of the brightest minds in the tech world, to show them how its done? Steve Jobs, saw the opportunity and knew what approach to take. Sell a fantastic multimedia player and a kickass music store where people could buy songs individually. He might not be 100% right but he’s the closest one without a doubt.

Why do old people, no disrespect, run major media companies? They’re not up-to-date with anything because all they care about is making money and wonder off in their private jets, stepping on everyone as they pass. Someone needs to grab the music industry by the horns, and only someone with a notion of future, where music came from, and where it’s headed will be able to make things work for the music industry.

One of the best models in my opinion would be to create a music service where you pay a small fee per month, and we’re talking millions of users, and be able to download the albums you want. Obviously there would have to be limits or else you’d have the typical guys who download just for the “fun” of it.

People wouldn’t mind paying 5 euros a month to download up to 20 albums, now would they? Just do the math. In a universe of 10 million hypothetic subscribers you would have 50 million dollars a month! We’re talking 600 million dollars a year, and we all know there would be well more than 10 million subscribers a month, if this thing were to be well publicized.

So my advice to the music industry is:

Change your board of directors and replace those with money hungry ambitions and absolutely no clue of what people want, with youngsters who understand what’s happening.
Maybe hire musicians for your boards, since they’re the ones one the road gathering people’s opinion on what’s wrong with the music industry, and what solutions they’d like implemented.

Patience…

1 02 2008

How much patience does it take to put up with someone?

There should be a patienceometer. You’ve always had different amounts of patience for different people. The decisive factor is, without a doubt, how much you like them and care for them.

The other factor has to do with reoccurrence. Sometimes you get so tired of the same problems reappearing, that you get tired of the same people exposing it to you.

Like Ralph Marston said: The keys to patience are acceptance and faith. Accept things as they are, and look realistically at the world around you. Have faith in yourself and in the direction you have chosen.

Patience is in fact something you learn, because you’re not born with it. Babies are patient to cry. They just do. In terms of their survival, they have to be impatient. So it would seem that patience is more a learned characteristic.

Patience: A single word that can determine the success of an individua. “Patience is waiting. Not passively waiting. That is laziness. But to keep going when the going is hard and slow – that is patience.”

So, just have some patience…. And you’d might be looking at a totally diferent and much better future.
